LSR 액상실리콘 고무 (LIquid Silicone Rubber)
실리콘 고무의 우수한 특성은 일반 유기계 고무와 달리 분자구조상 무기적 성질과 유기적 성질을 동시에 갖는 독특한 양면성에 있다. 즉, 분자구조상 주쇄인 실록산 결합(Si-O-Si)에 기인하는 무기적 특성때문에 일반 유기체 고무에 비해 내열성, 화학적 안정성, 전기절연성,내마모성,광택성 등이 매우 우수하다. 또한, 실리콘 고무의 기본 물질인 폴리디메틸 실록산은 긴 사슬의 고중합체로서 나선형 구조를 형성하고 분자간 상호인력이 작아 풍부한 탄성광 우수한 압축 영구 줄음율, 뛰어난 내한성 등을 나타내며, 측쇄의 유기 메틸기는 실리콘만이 가질수 있는 발수성, 이형성 등의 계면특성과 더불어 우수한 반응성, 용해성, 작업성 등의 유기적 특성을 나타낸다
